BPR recognise the importance of working to meet programme
and budget and approach each project with particular
attention to this key aspect of the design process.
From day one, the practice designs each project in
order to be able to create the most appropriate and
innovative solution within the means and timeframe available.
BPR do not see budget and programe as limiting elements,
they are elements which give the project its direction.
In conjunction with the context, the program and the
site, they are the forces which help shape the final
outcome and are the grounds from which innovation can
spring.
Projects such as the Avenue
de Chartres Carpark, and the Plashet
School Footbridge best demonstrate that award winning
design can be achieved on time and at a final cost which
is less than the client's original budget. |
