Alp Workers Settlement
Biasca Pollegio
The proposed settlement at Biasca Pollegio
provides comfortable, practical accommodation for workers
constructing a new rail tunnel through the Alps. The master
plan sets chalets around open spaces to create small hamlets.
The chalets are a modular prefabricated system delivered
to site for quick assembly. Communal recreational buildings
are located within the open public spaces of each hamlet.
