Hadrian’s Bridge
Hadrian’s bridge is inspired by the pastoral and historic context of the frontier between Roman and Celtic Britain. The bridge is a timber geodesic structure that threads through the existing bankside woodland, minimizing impact to the wood and flood plain habitats below. At the midpoint of the bridge a rest point frames views to Scotland and England and displays information about its historic location.
