Oxford Street
Christmas Lights
The proposal for new Christmas lights on Oxford Street evokes the journey of the Three Kings travelling from the East. As buses approach Oxford Street their roofs inflate to form luminescent bejeweled crowns. In stately passage and bearing gifts, in the arms of passengers boarding from Selfridges, they journey westwards sprinkling gold, frankincense and myrrh.
