Rochester Reed Foot and Cycle Bridges
For comfort and safety the cyclepath and
footpaths are separated into 2 bridge corssings. Inspired
by the estuarine context at Rochester, the timber walkways
echo local marine construction. The decks are supported on a thicket
of carbon fibre poles which sway and glow to create a
vibrant landscape sculpture along the river Medway.
