Elise is a talented young architect; she has a distinction in her Masters and, with Birds Portchmouth Russum’s support, completed her professional qualification with distinction. She joined Birds Portchmouth Russum in January 2014 with particular professional experience in urban design. She has applied her strategic approach in public consultations including Coram’s Fields and masterplans such as the BBC Townhouses.
At Birds Portchmouth Russum, Elise has led a number of residential proposals in sensitive historic contexts during the planning process, including Grade II listed Cannon Brewery and an apartment scheme adjacent to a Grade I listed church in Guildford. Before her Masters, Elise spent time in Malawi building in the community and applies this hands-on experience of detailing.
