Downley House has won a south east regional award at the RIBA awards 2013! This is the latest in a host of awards including: An Evening Standard Best Luxury Home, Daily Telegraph Most Innovative Home, Civic Trust Award Commendation and International Design Award.
Birds Portchmouth Russum's scheme for a new 3 bedroom maisonette and retail gallery along Highgate High Street has been selected for this years Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The model of the scheme made it through the shortlisting rounds and will be on exhibition from the 10th June till 18th August. The work was commended by thejury and recieved a special mention in this weeks Architects Journal (30.05.13).

Architecture Showcase is a public event showcasing Hackney's best architectural designs and innovative ideas for the future shape of the borough. Birds Portchmouth Russum will exhibit several models of recent projects in and around London. Hackney Architecture Showcase, taking place on Saturday 28th July and Sunday 29th July in Hackney House, will play host to some of London's leading architects who have designed structures or spaces in the borough, as well as Hackney-based architectural firms who are pioneering building design in the UK and across the globe.

Birds Portchmouth Russum has participated in a competition for a new church in Ny Valer, Norway. The competition was the second largest in terms of number of applications in the history of Norwegian architecture. The link to the competition website can be found here.
