Laganside Masterplan

The masterplan is conceived to heal the wounds to the urban fabric of Belfast arising from the Cross Harbour Link Bridge and Flyover which has severed Laganside from the city centre. New development is introduced to create links to the city centre and the quayside is developed into a public park linking the new public amentities alongside the River Lagan. A new city square is introduced into the heart of Laganside which responds to the local maritime context. The masterplanning strategy is estimated to bring a private inward development investment of £95 million.
